The JWC of Lake Murray Invites YOU to a Member Interest Event!

The Junior Women’s Club of Lake Murray is excited about the launch of the 2019-2020 club year! Our theme this year is, “Be the Inspiration.” We hope to inspire others and be inspired through our involvement in community service projects.

We have had a very busy summer so far! From hanging out with the Lexington County Blowfish to participating in goat yoga at Twin Hopes Farms, it’s been a summer full of laughs and giving.
As the summer winds down, we are looking forward to our annual membership interest event coming up on Tuesday, August 27th at the Columbia Sailing Club in Columbia, SC.  It is a great opportunity for members and prospective members to network and share more about their passion for giving back to the community.  Click here to RSVP and find out more about how to be involved in our club.
During our upcoming membership drive, we will also be collecting new and used shoes for Soles4Souls. These shoes will help make the difference in the life of a needy family.

Interested in joining our group? Check out what these current members have to say about the Junior Women’s Club of Lake Murray.

“I joined the Junior Women’s Club of Lake Murray four years ago to have the opportunity to serve the community and meet new people since I was relatively new to the Lexington area. Along the way I have participated in some great service projects as well as have met some amazing ladies who are equally as passionate as giving back. The club meetings, socials and service projects are great ways to take a break from the stress of work.”  Courtney W

“In general, I’d have to say my favorite part about the club is that it provides a chance to get together with like-minded young women to find simple ways to uplift our community while also having a great time building friendships with one another.” Megan Y

“I joined Junior Women’s Club so that I could be a part of a group of women that are helping others and making our local area a better place. So far my favorite event was our Barre class fundraiser that raised money for SC Oncology Associates cancer patients.” Michelle B
