2020 Youth Coloring Contest

Thank you for entering our 2020 Youth Coloring Contest!

All of the artwork was so beautiful & creative! We are very proud of all the children who participated in this project. A special "Thank You" to the parents/guardians for encouraging your child to get creative & express their love for art and kindness! Engaging your child in the arts is what this is all about, as it helps children grow and mature in so many different and important ways.

Enter the JWC of Lake Murray's 2020 Youth Coloring Contest!

The 2020 Youth Coloring Contest runs October 11-25. 

Our theme for the 2020 Youth Coloring Contest is Kindness. 

Let's get started!

Coloring Contest Guidelines:

1. Use crayons, colored pencils, or markers.

2. Must be the child's own work.

3. No gluing or taping extra embellishments or materials.

4. Only 1 entry per child.

5. All entries must be received by Sunday, Oct. 25th.

6. The 1st and 2nd place winners of each age group will receive prizes. 

Entry Submission:

Scan your artwork or take a photo and email to: JWCLakeMurray@gmail.com 

Please type "Coloring Contest" in the subject line.

Include the child's name, age, and a contact phone number and email address. 

Winners in each category will be announced on our social media pages and website the week of October 26. 

Please keep your artwork! The Starbucks in Lexington (5555 Sunset Blvd.) will display the winning coloring pages in their store.

We hope this fun project will highlight the importance of kindness and art for all children!

GFWC has a long history of working to improve the lives of children all over the world.  The GFWC Juniors' Special Program encourages all clubs to organize a project during the 4th week of October to benefit children.  This year, Oct. 25-31, 2020 has been declared GFWC Advocates for Children Week.  

We hope you and your child enjoy this project and we can't wait to show off their beautiful coloring pages!
